Sterling silver, 18 carat gold and Mozambique garnet.   Approx 50x50mm. A sumptous heavyweight brooch, with rich red garnets, a "frosted" texture, beautfully accented with a gold leaf.  The brooch would be suitable to display on a jacket or jumper and to hold a light shawl. The garnet penannular brooch is hallmarked by the London assay office.
