PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

The items of jewellery for sale are described as accurately as possible with images, weights and measurements where applicable.  Photographs of the items will be of the actual item you will receive.  However due to an individual computer's monitor setting, the colours of the jewellery cannot be guaranteed to be 100% accurate.  Every care has been taken to photograph the items accurately.  Some designs may feature pre-made components such as chains, charms and clasps.  Not all of these are hallmarked due to them being below the weight at which UK Law requires hallmarking.

 

HALLMARKING

In order to describe and sell precious metal jewellery, UK law requires that we have the item hallmarked by our chosen Assay Office . This applies to any item of jewellery that contains: Above 7.78gm weight of Sterling, Argentium, Britannia or Fine Silver Above 1gm weight of Gold - where the item is solid gold and not gold filled (rolled gold)*

 

We may occasionally decide to have lower weight items hallmarked - this is at our discretion, however you are at liberty to request, to have a lower weight item hallmarked. In this case the item will be dealt with as a customisation, as the addition of a hallmark will incur a charge which will be advised to you before you pay for the item.

 

BESPOKE COMMISSIONS AND CUSTOMISED ITEMS

We are always pleased to accept commissions and are happy to discuss your requirements.  All commissions require a non refundable deposit of 50% before work commences.   If  you have seen one of my designs that inspires you, but would like a slight design alteration, or a silver design made in gold,  then this may be possible depending on the piece.  Please note that no two designs will ever be identical.

Your financial information stays with PayPal. Your credit, debit card and bank account numbers are not passed on to Karen J Ward.  Please see the  Paypal site for terms and conditions.
