the studio is near to the Selby Canal where you can see the lock linking it to the river Aire, and enjoy a walk along the towpath. There are two local pubs the Jug - Chapel Haddlesey, and the George and Dragon - West Haddlesey.  The Birkin fisheries & tea room, Birkin, Roos cafe in Burn, and the small town of Selby with its historic Abbey are 5 and 10 minutes away respectively.
