Metal & Fire - A Jewellers tale

There is nothing better on a cold winters night than sitting close to a roaring fire, but fire has always been used as a tool since man first discovered it. Part of the attraction for me with making jewellery is the use of fire in shaping and moving metal, changing something from a flat nondescript sheet into something wonderful. Without precious metal and the fire to work it with, I would not be able to create my jewellery so the new name for my blog was obvious!
